Stefania Madigson, who is the president and founder of the Blue Heron Foundation, located in Beverly hills, CA.
Stefania is beyond dedicated in helping not only the abandoned children but also those who do not have the funds to continue to go to school. Scholarships are provided for students to be able to go to collage and a lot more to help those seeking a better future. All it takes is someone to lend a helping hand and they can do the rest.

I started my own work to help the abandoned children of Romania because I was inspired by other orphans who were left behind from my orphanage and I was inspired by
my parent's Daniel and Marlyes Ruckel, who taught me the value of understanding and helping those left behind.

Simona Stewart, a young women who had decided to go and visit an orphanage while in high school to see what the students could do to help.
When Simona and her class got to the orphanage, it was nothing what they had expected to see at all. Instead they found lots of sad children with no Christmas and a place where no child or any one should ever be in.
As years went by, Simona could never forget what she saw, and began finding ways to help these poor kids who were left abandoned by families who could not care for them.
She tried getting contributions from the citizens of Romania, but she was turn away and no one seemed to want to help, so she turned to the United States and other countries that could help her get started with her dreams.
Thanks to the United States, a lot of kind folks decided they wanted to help Simona fulfill her dreams to save as many abandoned children as she could and open up an abandoned building and turn it into the House of Angeles. believe me when I say these words. many and especially Romanian authorities doubted that she would be able to raise enough funds to open up the House Of Angeles.
Today Simona continues to run the house of Angeles and she is always seeking help. I may not have my own foundation, but having the opportunity to work with both of these foundations is all I need and I support them 100%.
